Apple Ipad 2 - Your thoughts?

What are your thoughts on the new apple ipad 2? Just been reading up on it and its faster, slimmer, lighter plus features back and front cameras for video calls etc. Worth an upgrade you think...?

I wouldn't even buy the 1st version. I find ipad useless.

Looks like a big iphone with less features.

only thing that is new is a duel core cpu, cam, & it is slimmer we got our first shipment into day at target

Did you know that the reason that they didn't add the camera to the first ipad was because it would have being harder to market the second one?

Think about how small cameras are and how they have being in phones for years. Do you honestly it took Apple this long to incorporate it technically? Of course not. It's all marketing and that's one of the best features of the ipad2 - It's Marketing.

Exactly. I mean If they added the camera and all that stuff to the 1st one, they really couldn't make another one with any "good" features for years until they get new tech.

That was obvious even before the original iPad launched when they found a empty spot where there was supposed to be a camera

Still it's a nice product. I only didn't buy a iPad cause I already own an iPhone, which are basically the same. Now it's a lot faster I might get one though...

I have 1 32GB ipad. 2 words : IT SUCKS!
But its a good expensive toy for children like letting them play games on it and with no big settings to be changed. Its just a toy.

Another big hype for the Apple addics (yeah, I used to call them fans, but after a while you see they've become addicted to their products). Now they all have a reason to waste another $1k....

Apple did a good job at first, but new tablets are doing better job right now.
