There is no such thing as trusted on KWWH. Look what has happened with that in the past. No exceptions should be made
I like the reseller idea. You should have to state your a resellerand who you resell for. Being a reseller is not even a bad thing. Sometimes you get better deals and support.

Should have similar rules such as WebHostingTalk, You get 1 Topic per week in each section offer section and for the post where people are requesting it you shouldn't be allowed to advertise your own web hosting or alike.
It's amazing, being in a community can cause hate. Competitors or not - DDOS isn't cool :)

Limiting the amount of threads popping of with the same service, that should have never been allowed in the first place, nor do I think the moderation team really allow for it to happen as of now.
In regards to trying to control where hosting is talked about, what links show up where, that may be a bit crazy. Especially for the moderation team. Not to mention, I think its a bit of a hindrance.
First thing I thought about was the people that would reply and go, check out my signature. Technically they didn't reply with that host, but in some ways they did, its in their sig.

first two rules cover that. got them right from wht
- may not advertise/mention/recommended your your services in any thread other then an advertising thread regardless if people are asking for a hosting plan that you fit
- may not direct others to contact you even if they started a thread looking for a web host
checking out your sig is a way of mentioning your host

how about prohibiting people from 'recommending' hosts?(if they have a post count of less than say 50 OR they are not older than 1month??
i`m not saying everyone does it,but i do know its a possibility that some people create acc to 'recommend' hosts

Great suggestions.
When would the rules be in affect?

Even if it was a waste of time suggesting it, it only took a minute. That's what the feedback section is for. I feel strongly that it would make the place better. Less people would probably get screwed with terrible hosting too.
