How to install any programms on VPS?

you dont need a control panel to install programs, you can use command lines, Use PUTTY to connect to your VPS, I dont want to be like the millions that already say "GOOGLE IT" but in this case I'd say use google! When it comes to installing stuff on VPS Google can really be a GREAT help! you will find all the command lines you need to install a certain program.

i don't think that it should be that hard... even for a total newbie, as there are really a lot of tutorials about how to setup a linux vps. but if you have the chooice and you know windows better then just go with windows i think... if it's easier for you.

You may get a control panel to restart your pc, shut it down, or stuff like that, but for windows PC's, control panels aren't necessary, and don't worry, it won't be a problem for you, even if you get it. It will provide only most basic functions. And yes, Windows VPS is like a regular Windows operating computer. You can do anything on it like you would do on a normal PC.
