It seems that in my board the user validation email is not delivered properly

I use PHP Mail()

Can anyone help

Could you give us more details? Is it delivering user validation mails at all, or not?

The " Board incoming email address " and " Board outgoing email address " is to be the same and I suggest you check that the address you use there actually works. Normaly is what I know anyway the address you get from your serverhost. Try through the server controlpanel and the mail option send and recive a testmail for example to your own personal email address.

The other settings in the Acp should be there default settings.

@Jason: Yes as many members have got email address verified .. but i am not sure if its working or not

BTW how do i send emails from ACP in order to test

You can make a new account on your board with a valid email address and see if you get the validating email.

Sending emails from inside the ACP is only possible through the Bulk Mail option (please correct me if Im wrong) found in the left side panel when you click the member tab but thats for usergroups. You can always send one to yourself as I guess your the admin.

The other way to be more sure that the registration emails is sent out or in fact the whole registration procedure works as it should is to do what WarezFreaks mentioned. That will for sure give you better information.
