How to switch from Wordpress to DLE?

I want to change wordpress to DLE (DataLife Engine) and i dont want to loose my database, does anybody know a method to make the transfer safe?

Surprised DataLife Engine doesn't have an import feature . . .

You'll need to do an sql dump of your WordPress database, and alter it to mimic the DataLife Engine database.

I only have the mysql db in my directadmin and phpadmin i think. this will be a complicated problem

I'd also be surprised if something doesn't already exist. It's very possible however most likely some minor problems will occur like passwords will have to be reset. Otherwise is should be fine.

If no converter exist it could be expensive. You'll have to hire a coder who has knowledge of both Wordpress and DLE to convert the DB for you.

All your katz submissions will become invalid if you change to dle i think

Yes and this is where it get's complicated.

See you could convert the database from Wordpress to DLE fairly easily but the problem occurs in trying to retain your urls. Wordpress and DLE have different urls so if you wanted to keep them the same it would require additional work. To keep any DDL traffic you would need this additional work done.

Now as for ratings if you contact the DDL sites like Katz and tell them you are converting they will delete your submits from the Database but in most cases allow you to retain your rank.
