annoying welcome user table in navbar

Well I seem to be having some problems with my Welcome User table at the top of my forum.

what i mean is this:



I wanted to get the orange stripe to fill the whole of it up, (I mean fill up the rest of where the white circle has be drawn on)

So I was wondering if any of you knew how I could fix it, I tried many of ways and it just screwed it up more.

Any help will be appropriated
