I won the auction for the CUH posted in the VPS offer section http://www.besthostingforums.com/showthread.php?t=70241
The VPS I won was the following spec:

    CPU Usage: Fair
    50 GB HDD
    250 GB Bandwidth
    1 GB Dedicated RAM
    1.5 GB Burstable
    1 IP Address

So lets start with the Free -m stats. nice and simple.
    Code:
    [root@nlcu ~]# free -m
total used free shared buffers cached
    Mem: 1536 284 1251 0 0 0
    -/+ buffers/cache: 284 1251
    Swap: 0 0 0
Thats with my Left 4 Dead 2 server running. sendmail, and httpd.

CPU wise I can see Four of the following:
    Code:
    cat /proc/cpuinfo

    Four:

Download test now. When I first got the server I did these tests:

    Code:
    [root@nlcu ~]# wget http://cachefly.cachefly.net/100mb.test
    --18:27:14-- http://cachefly.cachefly.net/100mb.test
    Resolving cachefly.cachefly.net... 205.234.175.175

    18:32:22 (338 KB/s) - `100mb.test' saved [104857600/104857600]
    From My Other Dutch VPS:
    Code:
    [root@nlcu ~]# wget http://89.188.9.**/100mb.test
    --18:43:18-- http://89.188.9.**/100mb.test

My Left 4 Dead 2 install was a 8.1GB download. and took 12mins.

I attempted to re-test the cachefly just now. But the DNS appears to be playing up. Not really a problem for me as I dont use DNS for anything.

Now for upload (using the same VPS I used for the download test)

    Code:
    [root@localhost html]# wget http://85.17.24.227/100mb.test
    --2011-02-28 15:38:47-- http://85.17.24.227/100mb.test
    Connecting to 85.17.24.227:80... connected.
HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 200 OK
    Length: 104857600 (100M) [application/x-tar]
    Saving to: `100mb.test'

    100%[======================================>] 104,857,600 3.68M/s   in 27s

    2011-02-28 15:39:14 (3.67 MB/s) - `100mb.test' saved [104857600/104857600]
    Now some hard drive benching.
    Code:
    [root@nlcu ~]# dd if=/dev/zero of=/tmp/zero bs=1k count=100k
    102400+0 records in
    102400+0 records out
    104857600 bytes (105 MB) copied, 0.343814 seconds, 305 MB/s
    [root@nlcu ~]# dd if=/dev/zero of=/tmp/zero bs=1k count=1000k
    1024000+0 records in
    1024000+0 records out
    1048576000 bytes (1.0 GB) copied, 3.81821 seconds, 275 MB/s
Again they where from when I first got the server.
    These ones I've run today:
    Code:
    [root@nlcu ~]# dd if=/dev/zero of=/tmp/zero bs=1k count=100k
    102400+0 records in
    102400+0 records out
    104857600 bytes (105 MB) copied, 0.350684 seconds, 299 MB/s
    [root@nlcu ~]# dd if=/dev/zero of=/tmp/zero bs=1k count=1000k
    1024000+0 records in
    1024000+0 records out
    1048576000 bytes (1.0 GB) copied, 3.83694 seconds, 273 MB/s
Compared to my other Dutch VPS:

    Code:
    [root@localhost ~]# dd if=/dev/zero of=/tmp/zero bs=1k count=100k
    102400+0 records in
    102400+0 records out
    104857600 bytes (105 MB) copied, 0.751038 seconds, 140 MB/s
    [root@localhost ~]# dd if=/dev/zero of=/tmp/zero bs=1k count=1000k
    1024000+0 records in
    1024000+0 records out
    1048576000 bytes (1.0 GB) copied, 20.4638 seconds, 51.2 MB/s
Anyway I can't say I've had any problems with the VPS (other than that small DNS but I'm sure if I wanted to solve that I can).
In terms of setup time it was pretty quick. Had to get them to change the invoice for the auction but that was fine. Haven't needed to contact support so cannot comment on that. But no using it is surely a good side.

I myself havent had a chance to play on my Left 4 Dead 2 server. I'll be putting a few other bits on the server when I get time. But if anyone wants to try out the L4D2 server:
    85.17.24.227:27035
