Is it safe to use finance softwares?

I want to better track where my bucks come from and go to and how much I have left But I read that these thing manage the bank accounts too but is that even safe if you have to enter your bank card number and the password to track them in the free programs? Some say this is good one of the free apps money.strands.com. But since it's free, I feel it'll be less secure, what if they just login to our bank using our card number and password? KABOOM!?


Suggest me some ideas.
