PlaySongs.meSuggest ideas for my imagehosting site
Hey guys ,
i recently opened an imagehosting site "www.imgflex.com"
i know most of you will say 'Please , get yourself a design first'
here is the design , i'm just looking for a coder
Despite that , i need some ideas how to make site better
like adding snapr tool or NFO to png just lemme know what do you think .
also i was thinking to earn from it , not much just to pay for the dedi
you think i should put ads or pop up ?
a friend told me to allow xxx and add juicy ads but i hate porn
i hope that there is other choice .
leave your thoughts

I think the site is nice and the design is fine.
I would not add any popups this makes users not coming back!!
Better you place some ads on left and right.
What i truly believe is you need an option where users can register and handle their galleries , pictures they uploaded.Regards

I think the site's design is good( like i said before)
But i have one question/suggestion before you try to monetize your site?
Why should anyone use your image host? There are already dozens of good image hosting sites e.g lulzimg,EIC, uimgz, imgur etc etc. Most of these donot have ads and are extremely good at what they do. Why should users switch their images to your site?
What i am trying to say is that, make your site unique. Offer something that the others dont, DONOT add ads in the beginning( at least 2-3 months). People hate ads, the majority of the users avoid anything with ads. If you do add them, people will continue to use an adfree option like uimgz and lulzimg.
To be honest, i think trying to monetize an image hosting website isn't a good idea. You have to make sure that your project/website is sustainable and doesn't shut down in 1 month and running an image host is very expensive.

I don't get it.. Why would you create image hosting site in the first place, when you don't have enough money to run it without ads, popups and stuff like that?
There are tons of great image hosting sites, that have no ads at all. I'm sure that you wouldn't even know what to do after you get big amount of pictures hosted on your server. What code changes to make.. You'd either close it or sell it.
