As far as i think, the time taken is normal too while updating manually too.
When it shows the messagebox as Completed then it adds info to the "hosts" file.

NOT working on win vista properly...
i clicked block and the site was blocked.
then unblocked it..

Now when i blocked it again its still unblocked and remain unblocked..

Dont think its possible.
Dont think that host file will update every second. It takes time mate.
I just tried in my pc. It was working fine. I blocked elitearchive.com, unblocked it and reblocked it
