^ Depends on your needs, but Dropbox is good to store files(legal) and pictures from your family reunion, lol.

I have 100Gb portable drive and a 300Gb hdd mostly used for pictures and songs, plus some dvd's. It's less than 0,5 TB

Currently have a 2TB drive in my PC which is backups (which get burnt to DVD) and at the moment 250x DVD5's which is about another 1TB.
