is .in domains acceptable by DDL sites?

I own a PC games Blog and i'm planing to buy a new .in domain but before spending my money I'd like to know if .in domains are acceptable by DDL sites.
do you think that I sholud buy .net or .com domain instead?

.in is accepted, but if you are buying a new domain, go for a .com

They registered ICIO.US

then made a subdomain called DEL

DEL.ICIO.US

they just made a few subdomains to make the word
