Flash Developer - Starting from tomorrow.

Hi all, as you probably seen in my previous thread I had an interview for a job to become a junior Flash Developer, well I was supposed to start on the 7th but my boss rang me up today and asked if it was okay for me to come in tomorrow so I said of course.

Now all I have to do is try to keep up with the pro's.

My boss said he'll situate me next to a professional who has been working there for a while and I'll mirror everything he does just to test out how fast I can keep up, because I am an extremely fast touch typer (like most of us on this site are) I think I'll be able to do it fairly well.

I plan on running my own little small business creating Flash websites for webmasters here and presumably other webmasters but I guess I'll have to see how it goes.

Good luck. Don't let them find out you're working on the side. A lot of companies would frown upon that.

Thanks for the advice, I thought as I was typing that I shouldn't mention it to anyone aside from the people I am selling my services to. I guess no one else needs to know anyway huh.

People there are pro but the job I did was like super huge and epic boring, was still good though because of the cool people. I had to get text from Flash files and put the text into xml files using a certain structure, was super easy after I did the first couple and got the hang of it. Every hour or so there is a game to see who makes the coffee & tea where you stand one side of the room and have to throw a kinder egg shell into the bin on the other side but there are twists in the game like you have to get it off a wall, the other version we played was called "The Fonze" where you have to throw it behind your back, I of course ended up making the coffee and tea after failing epically, the last game they played; I didn't bother partaking.

It definitely seems like fun at the moment but im not sure how things will turn out once I'm settled down, one guy said it can get quite tense when people have to reach tight deadlines and stuff so I assume it's not always super laid back and thanks for the support guys
