Paypal-RBI India issue solved for time being

I was searching why the new rule failed to be implement and came across a blog saying this. Also I can't see the RBI POLICY update notice which I was seeing after logging in to paypal in the month of March.

1. Paypal has not yet implemented these polices strictly since it requires significant coding and site wide changes to automatically withdraw the paypal balance to banks for indian paypal users. And to restrict paypal indian balance to be used for services/payment

2. I believe as we speak, a bunch of programmers from paypal are developing this mechanism so that the policies are employed strictly and is applicable only for INDIAN paypal users

3. The strict implementation may take a month to happen.

4. Till then to satisfy RBI/Indian regulators they are just giving notice to users at login about the new policies and rules and advising us to follow them.

It is good for Indians that they're still able to use PayPal. But I guess many of Indians have already shifted to using AlertPay

and consume some serious time

PayPal is not so bad.
They are just the most secur epayment gateway on the net.
If you work by the rules you won't get limited.

AlertPay is cool as well, but their fee's are just way too high.

i am indian user and i have 2 bank account and 1 credit card added and i haven't any problem with paypal i do transaction of more than 400$ per week and not a single problem i am having with paypal


all i have to do is to follow the paypal new rules and everything will be fine
