hmmm are you sure? cuz currently am in india came for studies and i asked them but they said you need to buy it (350$) and spend more (300$) total (650$) to make it work thats why i made a thread what should i buy

Both consoles are pretty equal so I'd say look at the exclusives and buy which one has the games you like.

Do you play online? XBox Live is much better than PSN but it's also ~$60/year. If you play enough to pay for the better service (Live) buy a 360.

The PS3 can be "hacked" with just a normal USB flash drive and there are tutorials all over the 'net so if you go that route don't pay someone to do it. I've never hacked a 360 so I don't know how easy/hard it is. Although it's probably obvious, remember a hacked console means no online play/downloads (or at least, for long).

I like xbox more than playstation, but it's cheaper owning a playstation, mainly because you do not have to pay to play online.
