One of my site has 4k traffic & 300k alexa rank. So Alexa rank is something based on complex calculation. Dont compare on Alexa.

Alexa rank mosr probably depends on the visitor and there page views.If u have 1000 uv with 6 to 10 page/views u would have a better alexa as ItsmYarD said and if u are submitting to ddl's and getting 4k to 5k visitors then your average page views will be less hence alexa rank will not be much better.

But to show organic traffic u must show google analytics/extreme tracking details..

Alexa is not accurate but it's a rough way to gauge it and anyway, I think I went on the wrong site, his site is alexa rank 1.3mil and pls don't give me the bullshit and 7k uv can still be 1.3mil alexa.
