Two Things

1. When do these horrible ads get removed? You said once they 'expire', when is that? They make the homepage look terrible.

2. Why are the 'WGTools' threads still stickies? elj is no longer here and that site is unaffiliated with KWWH, it is no more important than any other site maintained by a member on here. I'm sure there are many other threads much more relevant than those to be stickied.

I accidently renewed one ad My bad. Didn't pay attention and and cancel the recurring payment in-time

also: the site policy is against referral links,but the the 3 big ads at the top contain referral links

it seems elight or whoever does want to get rid of them though so we shall wait and see I guess.
the site will look less like a big GIF image and more like a forum once they're gone (you know, with all the flashing ads and animated crap).

Nothing wrong with them having a referral banner in the header. They need a taste too. This forum costs money to run. The referral policy is for users posting referrals in threads. It does not cost you anything to run this forum.

Gonna have to keep one of the revenue streams I think, but yeah, May 20th give or take they'll go. They were renewed for 3 months or so I think. Maybe even 4 at a time.

I think you should leave all the advertisements where they are and keep on selling ad spots, why shouldn't you make money. Going out of your way to not make money is pointless imo.

and can you unsticky those 'wgtools' stickies which seem to be there for no reason. they were only stickied because elj owned the site (or some other staff member did).

elight, just ignore these people and leave the advertisements where they are. It doesn't look spammy at all. Its your forum and you have every right to make some money off it the way you see fit.
