I knew I'd seen that design before when I looked at 'zowex' lol.

Good job though, it's nice to have someone active putting templates out for my script.

@ JMZ I never claimed that the Zowex template was unique - it's not.

We're working on a unique one, and even the current one looks ten times better than the default, and chances are you saw it on DLindex.com (which was Zowex v1 - now owned by Phaze) which is mine - so never copied anything.

I'm sure if you navigate around Zowex you will notice how much hard work was put on coding it and the features that nobody else has, because you actually made the whole script.

Some DDLs here with zero traffic, zero webmaster skill, crap looking and zero features get a lot of followers.

Only last week I offered a link exchange to a DDL owner here and he wanted me to post a banner yes a BANNER on another site of mine which gets 8 times the amount of traffic his site does - for him to post a text link on his site.

WCDDL is great, but it's a gate to hell - every little jerk with some Paypal money makes a website and a thread like he's just invented Facebook.

Yeah that was rather random.

However, you should know that I code WCDDL in a specific way so that newbies find it hard to understand and adapt. I write it assuming you have some technical understanding of PHP, HTML and SQL so avoid implementing features just for user-friendliness (the user being the webmaster).

It was made as a replacement to KDDL and I did the above purposely so it would replace it, not create a flood of new sites. So now you see very newbie-like sites use DDLCMS (full of vulnerabilities and such), some use WCDDL but they don't take off without the correct backend knowledge so have no effect on the niche as a whole.

Be assured I have thought this through thoroughly and planned every last thing.

c0rrupt posts a lot of html -> wcddl conversions so I came here to thank him for that, he does a good job.
