    Default Ubuntu User/Folder Permissions

    Hi, I did this twice (once about a year ago and the last time was about 4 months ago)

    And I've managed to completely forget how to do it.

    I've created a new user and I want to give that user permissions to read write and execute in a certain folder but I don't know how to, I did google a few times but I am not in the mood spend ages finding a thread on ubuntuforums and trying several different methods so I am hoping someone here can help, thanks

    Fixed by using:

    Code: 
    chown username /dir/dir/ ; chmod 755 /dir/dir/

    So kiss me and smile for me, say that you'll wait for me <'3
