Well, what I get from his post is:

Using xrumer to seo your site by creating 1000's of backlinks at once from unrelated sites will damage your own site's seo, if you want to seo your site using xrumer you should look for relevant sites to gain links from and do it slowly and increase the number gradually. Only work with people experienced in seo and not noobs using the tool to gain a quick buck - like most of the people offering xrumer services here.

i guess it varies between people. I've ordered blasts in the past and they seem to help my site's ranking. It could probably be due to my site's age.

I believe if you use in on a newer site, you would get banned by google or you try to index too many links at one time
