Today when i was checking out about RS with Rapidshare Manager, i found this and thought using Cute Ftp Client i will be able to do ftp. But this is not working...I am on RS premium..Did anybody try this?

The File manager of RS also sucks...so difficult to traverse though files and tough to move from one folder to another

doesn't seem so, not a word about it in their API. maybe just a gateway, so you would upload files to your virtual localhost ftp and rapidshare manager would upload it for you. just guessing.

To get the VIP status you need to extend RapidPro for one year.

Thank you for the request about our new FTP function we now offer for the
    RSM2.
To integrate your RSM in your Windows Internet Explorer please follow the
    instructions below:

    - First you have to be sure that the FTP option is active. You find these
settings in under 'General' in your RSM settings.
    - The option 'Enable FTP' needs to be checked. You do not have to change the
port. Just leave it as -2121-.

If you are a Windows XP user, go to 'Start' => 'My Network Places' and then
    choose 'Add Network Place'.

If you are a Windows Vista or Windows 7 user, you can do a right mouse click
on ' Computer' and choose 'Computer' then you go to 'Add Network Place'.

Then you are in the 'Add Network Place Wizard'. You can follow the
instructions of the program until you are asked about the 'internet-'or
    'network address'
There you have to enter the IP address which is showed in the right bottom of
    your RSM FTP adjustments.

Now you are asked if you want to log in anonymously. Please deactivate this
and log in with your RapidShare user name and password.

When you were logging in, you were asked about a name for your new 'Network
Places'. You are free to choose any name you want.
This will be the name which is showed in the explorer. Now you can finish the
installation and the new 'Network Places' shows up in your explorer.

Now you can navigate easily between your computer and your RapidShare account.
But kindly note that you still upload and download your files when you
transfer them, which means that you would also be charged Traffic.

    Best regards,

It works for me with Filezilla. I had to update to the latest RSM2 version, because when I first tried it uploaded each file multiple times. Only problem is, it does not update the files when I change something via RS website. For example, I upload a file with Filezilla, then I go to the website and move it to a different folder, but in Filezilla it is still in the previous folder even if I refresh the view.
