A Few Screens of Windows 8 Milestone builds

Alright guys so yesterday i finally had time to test out M1 "Milestone 1" & M2 "Milestone 2"

There is not really a big difference between the two M2 had more User Interface changes how ever i am awaiting Mile Stone 3 which has major UI changes

What do you guys think about windows 8 so far ?
At the moment its core is still around windows 7 its still using the 6.1 kernel as well.


Thoughts ?

Too early to test ...

Its almost same as win 7 (except few UI changes in M2 ).I'll wait for beta and pass by these Milestone builds.

Yep, It's too early, I don't even consider these 'Windows 8' since it's 32 bit (Microsoft is not making Windows 8 a 32 bit Operating System) unless they changed their mind.

September is suppose to be the official release, If I read correctly, not to mention it's suppose to be a "Cloud Operating System", this is still the back-end of Windows 7.

I think they're going to keep 'Windows 7' for home based PCs and I think Windows 8 is going to target mainly for businesses, but I could see running a 'Cloud' in my home.

seriously i don't think there are any changes or any differents between Windows 7 and Windows 8 but still i'll go with "Windows 7" lol

btw how do you feel now DLow?

its still not even in beta stages yet.

but size of iso and the OS itself are smaller. i can tell the rumors are already true that this will be an OS for the cloud.
