Install wordpress very quickly with SSH Hey, I hate installing wordpress cuz it takes quite sometime on my lame net, I did a little googling and found a faster way, so if you have a vps or any kind of hosting with SSH enabled, just run those commands: Step 1: Navigate to where you want to install WordPress cd /path/to/your/site/ Step 2: Get and Uncompress the Latest Version of WordPress wget http://wordpress.org/latest.tar.gz tar xfz latest.tar.gz Rating: 5

Oh, yeah? But if it is, it's just a matter of seconds and we talk about a 3Mb RAR file. And the File Manager is so much easier .. no typing to do, just drag and right click to extract.
