Regarding DDL !!

I want to know, that if any DDL have Rule like any website can get 4 or 5 Star after certain submission (Example -> after 700-900 submission + Button link-back).

But Same time, that Same DDL have few 4* & 5* Sites, which have only 10-40 submission... how does this system work?? & is this fair ?
I mean if u Can't follow your own rules then why this rubbish rules u make...

May be i am making this nOOb thread, as am new to this internet world, don't know much....but i am writing as i am feeling...!!

it depends on how big the new site is and some other facts
consider the site wowebook.com it was 5* on Katz and have huge unique visitors
if your DDL button is placed over there ppl tends to visit your DDL. your Alexa gets Down soon and many such factors, y ppl give 5* for huge sites Easily!

some sites are own by ddl owner itself so they give their F site 5* rates
no criteria of X submissions for them as the owner is same

i agree with you,well,as far as i see in SOME ddl sites,i see that the admin makes his own sites 5 star while he makes others 4,he adds them on the front page with more downloads to get more traffic to his downloads from others ,as i also have a ddl site which is linkddl.com ,i started my download forum from 2 to 3 star although its my ddl site,im fair with my self ,see here >> http://www.linkddl.com/site-all4pak.com ,although i add very few downloads like 5 or 3 on the front page SOMETIMES

Well for me, it depends on the site capability of sending us hits aswell, its not good to have a 5* site that does not send you hits.

Also i can re-rate a site to 5* if i see if it has good potential.

Secondly well for the start giving many people 5* and 4* was to fill in the slots

If they give 4-5* according to site popularity then it should be Mentioned in their rules ...

Some sites with 600 submission is 2* and some sites with 10 submission have 5* ..

Speaking as owner on Zowex.com here - there will be very, very few 5* websites.

I've put up a system which scans the uniqueness of DDLs submitted per site, and 85%+ of websites submit the same material.

This, the site design, the site speed, how much mature is the website, which ads are used, the links used, the format of the posts and many other factors will make it hard to get 5* on Zowex thus completely worth it.

Currently all sites are 1*, but we send nice hits

Yeah right, which 5* websites have 10 submissions? No way...

Also, it's quality over quantity. 300 downloads with Rapidshare, Megaupload and Filesonic let's say are far more better than 600 downloads with Filesonic links only.
