    I think this really is not a matter of content, it is a matter of what you as webmaster find more suitable to work with...

    vBulletin is so much better, has a lot great mods/addons, totally recommend it.

    I don't recommend using vBulletin Suite, not worth the price.

    Haven't used phpBB is a long time, it's free and if it's the same way to implement mods by editing files and such, I don't recommend this.

    phpbb FTW. If you don't like phpbb go home. I love editing it and customizing it to my likings much better than vbulletin.

    phpbb 3.0.8 all day.

    Since you haven't used phpBB in a long time,you can't talk about it without checking what's new. now you can install MODs using AutoMOD. no editing is required.

    My vote goes to phpBB
