Hosting For a Gallery Site

Hello

AA friend of mine is opening a party gallery site.
He has a team and they are going to clubs every weekend and taking pictures which they will post on a site.
They will have like 100-200 per gallery.

He will need a host for that site. I know most of the guys offering shared services won't accept the traffic generated by those images so I will need to find a host for him...

Any suggestions?

How big are those images and how much users/day?

I'll try to answer all of your questions in 1 post:

Site will be legal. No warez no porn no nothing. It might contain sexy pics showing girls flashing but it's all night club/party content.
Site will have wordpress as backend with some plugins.

Images will be resized to 800 x 600 so maybe 200 kb / picture + thumb. There will be around 100 pics per gallery average so I'll say 20-30 Mb/gallery. There will be 4-6 galleries each weekend and some maybe even during weekdays.

Traffic will be European so I would prefer a server here.
Maybe a 60 Gb plan with as much traffic as possible.

Looking around $20 per month if it's too less let me know. Maybe start at lower plan and upgrade it as site grows.

why dont you just get a vps

I'm thinking about a VPS but I need a stable host that will assure me my site will remain up.
I know hosters aren't happy to have image hosts on their servers and take them down often.
The site will have hotlinking disabled but the traffic will get up for sure. Similar site here gets shit load of hits the day after a gallery is posted and bandwidth will get eaten fast...

well shared hosting are ok but it pointless getting one if after a month you going to after upgrade because shared hosting if you go over a cpu limit they will suspend your site

you could start with a vps and get it tweaked so it will last longer before you need to upgrade to dedi

vps you best try finding one with more then 2cpu and least 2gb ram to start off with
