phpMy BitTorrent question

I am planning to install phpmybittorrent. But I have one doubt. I do not want to install phpBB forum with it. Can I intsall phpmybittorrent without phpBB?

If yes then please mention the steps.

Hi,
If you are starting a Private torrent site i would say that Gazelle(http://what.cd/gazelle/) is probably the best free one, otherwise you will need to modify it to start a public torrent site.

phpMyBittorrent has nothing to do with phpBB, so it can work independent.

But if you have no knowledge I recommend you xbtit, the team behind xbtit is awesome and they update the code frequently. There are lot's of mods for it too.

I have sufficient knowledge. I want a script which has good support and mods and functionality wise is very good.

So between xbtit and PMBT which is better?

definatly xbtit, they have a good support forum and team.

There are loads of mods for xbtit, and xbtit works great with xbtt backend if needed.

Also, there is a paid version xbtitFM, it stands for xbtitFullyModded, which contains all premium mods.
