They shave downloads, i have random test files uploaded where I get friends and myself to download with different ips as free users. Sometimes if I'm at a cafe or someone's house i'll try it. For every 10 downloads only 3-5 are counted, sometimes less, sometimes more.

I think it depends on how big your files are. Like if you uploaded alot of small files you get less downloads on all your files and by small i mean <100mb. Ive done alot of testing.

I'm also getting more and more sure they count downloads pretty rhapsodical.

I have uploaded a porno dvd collection comming from my country and a guy told me, he was waiting for this collection, and he will download them all one after another.

He doesnt have premium account, and nobody else has downloaded them. 20-30% of downloads weren't counted.

it's hardly to get how much they shave, just bear in mind , if you increase your work, then you should expect increase of download count.

i am wondering is there any website to monitor filehoster download count?
