Let me say this again, that forum is complete trash and the community will not be affected in a negative way if it's removed. All that forum is useful for is spamming to get 1,000 posts like so many KWWH users do these days, no discussion, just pick an option and tell us what you picked. If you're lucky, you might even come across some dude who puts "bcuz itz best lolzzz" at the end of his sentence. No discussion at all, just pure bs.

The polling plaza isn't intended to be a serious forum... By not taken seriously I mean it's there to have a bit of fun. Generally all the sections in the general part of the forum are there for members to relax without being as strictly moderated as the rest.

Whilst the polling plaza doesn't have a great deal of good content one could argue introductions is similar and even general discussion. It's the same on any board which has these sections. Generally, they're full of off topic banter. I don't think it's harming anyone by being there. I find some of the polls interesting and obviously others do as well.

One thing that could be done is removing post count from this section.

The first one I'll focus on is reducing ads but since advertisers have already paid for their spots on KWWH I'll respect that till expiration date. After that I'll re-plan this whole advertising system.

Dont see why it would need to be removed. For one its there just for fun and really isn't suppose to be all that serious . For 2 if you move that many links from Googles thirsty bot im sure nothing good will come out of it.
Shit my forum has several threads that i find useless but guess what? google send me people that are searching for these threads.

I think KWWH needs to have a way to easily search the forums, for example a nice search bar,
at the top of the page like WHT (webhostingtalk.com) or vBTeam (vbteam.info)
then you get a something similar to this to come up for new users.

The administrators want you to view a thread before you continue to browse the forum.

You can view the thread here.

And tell new users that they need to search the forum before they post, to stop duplicate posts, and for example give them a warning if they have made a duplicate post when only post that they should for searched have basically the same name.

For example a user posts a thread called "I want a offshore server, any suggestions??"
and there are already a post (or more) of exactly what they are looking for they get a warning (or something).. because they could have just try a few simple searches. it could help to control the issue of people posting the exact same content and questions.

But this is only my opinion and im not saying it would solve the whole "duplicate posts" issue but i think it could also help and make it easier for new members and members who have been here a while to search all the useful threads on KWWH.
(and by the way i know i have probably done exactly what i talking about.)
