In need of alternative MSN client - read before posting

I'm a little tired of MSN and I'm looking for an alternative which supports the MSN groups.

Note: my OS is windows 7 64-bit

Now, I'm talking about proper groups -- one where people are able to be invited to the group and every time they are logged on it is available like a contact. This is essential, though I doubt many of you will have experience with these (but if you do then please say so and if any of the alternative clients you've tried have worked).

Suggest any alternative MSN/IM clients that you've used - I'll try them out and see if they support it.

Ones I've tried and don't support it:

• Trillian
• Pidgin

Any suggestions, excluding the ones listed above, are appreciated

Im in a group with friends and everytime someone talks in the group chat only us in the group are able to see it and stuff,etc,etc
