So any others i can use other than bigdump?

Also i've never used SSH before so don't say that.

use mysqldumper to make and install the backup its the best option after SSH.

Yes definitely read into SSH, I was pretty worried and scared about using SSH a few months back, but its only 2 commands you have to learn and your set

Ok about to try MySQLdumper if that don't work, i'll have no choice to have a bash with SSH.

Try Restore_backup.php (go to SMF and download it) That works good.

follow these steps, and you will see how easy ssh is.

1. Upload the .sql file thru ftp first.

2. Then log into ur ssh client, and move to the directory the backup is located. You can do this by typing...

cd path/to/backupsql

3. type (replace the underlined ones)

mysql -u dbusername -p databasename < backupsqlname.sql

4. hit enter and the client will ask for your db password.

5. and your database will be restored.



* alternatively, after login if you wanna skip step 2, just type
mysql -u dbusername -p databasename < /path/to/backupname.sql
