What does that screenshot prove?
And I've been talking to the other staff; so far we're all bending towards letting him stay banned.
The reason SyFlys charged back ACE was because ACE never handed over the domain. He only gave SyFlys modification rights, and that's a violation of the sales policy.
SyFlys also charged back because when ACE sold him the company, SyFlys had no idea how messed up CVPS was. How every customer wanted a refund because of ACE's incompetence in effectively managing the company. The details are fuzzy, and more so because ACE deleted a lot of threads/posts complaining about him and CVPS.
That and the fact that one of the screenshots in this thread show him agreeing to delete all existing threads of CVPS for a fresh start are enough to hold him liable. If he wasn't guilty, he had no reason to delete threads/posts. But he did - which not only shows how unprofessional he was in handling the entire situation, but also how unethical his actions were.
Having said that, the entire issue is still pending a final decision.
P.S: Nope, I've got no pms from anyone about anything regarding this matter.

ACE is a young fella, it sucks that he tried to earn money on this way since it was pretty obvious he would fail, as all youngsters fail at such things. Some fail when it comes to the money, some when it comes to the management. But in the end, they all fail.
And what they do with it is that they ruin their reputation on the Internet forever. Of course, they can get a new username, but their real name will always be associated with that company, and one important thing: Google never forgets.
Stuff about them and their companies will be there forever. ACE had a chance to be a normal fella, but he fucked it up. I know that most of you think I hate ACE, but honestly I don't. I like to joke a lot with him, and this opinion isn't based on my friendship with him.
If he refunds everyone his ban will be lifted.

I stand by this too. ACE seems like a good guy, but young and tried to make a quick buck on the net because hosting is "sooo easy to do it with (my quotes)." If he refunds everyone, and promises never (required) to get back into it again, then, he gets my unban vote.

hmm
I understand that you like him. The problem is clearly not in the hosting company, but in the way how he tried to cover the failure by misusing his moderator powers, it was simply unethical. You say he is a youngster? Then he should not moderate a forum which has a part oriented at making business.
You should unban him, and let him stay as a member, but for moderator maybe there are better suited people on this forum. (i'm rarely here, so i'm guessing only, but on a popular forum like this i think there are always a few "mod-applicant-buddy", or am i wrong?)
I hope you will decide wisely.
