Phamous Reviewed by Phamous on . Quitting the warez scene (PS: Free database dump here) I ain't gonna make this a 'novel' .. so it'll be a short read. Been in the warez scene for sometime now. My most successful warez forum was RapidW.Org. Early 2008, I sold it to another individual for $350. RapidW was still young back then (about 10K posts and 1K members). He promised to leave the forum the way it was and I agreed to help him grow it. Over time, I grew to like RapidW for whatever it was and decided to stay with it, even though I had plans to quit the warez scene. And Rating: 5

InvestDude.comsad,
these forums cud hav grown to massive size communities if it cud survive 2-3yrs more.... rapidW had tht potential, same as maxW and a few others, whose owners either got hacked/quit/left warezscene... or just sold it for a measly buck.
its interesting to see how excited ppl get when their forum starts expanding/getting big, they have loads of future plans and promise to turn the site into the next warez-bb, lol. an then one day they quit and everything goes down the drain.
but ur case is a bit diff lifetalk, not saying these to you, just saying what I hav been observing for the past 2-3 years of my webmaster/non-webmaster warez life.InvestDude.com Learn to make money by investing in hyips (high yield investment programs), affiliate marketing and tons of other method ;)

I would have, but the domain/site was sold almost a year back. That was when I was under financial difficulties/pressure and needed the money.
And not most people would of said yes. Everyone would jump onto it
@JointRolla
There's about 3,000 users (50 or so above) on RapidW's database. The entire forum was open for guests and we never had any of those messages nagging users to register, thus the low registration rates.
@Crucify
Yep.. A friend was making me a new skin for it. Kinda kick-ass. I've seen his skins, and I know his potential. But... ah well. That's how things were meant to be.
@AK47
You were drunk last night.

No use for me, any longer. I'd rather share it and give others the chance to 'possibly' continue the legacy?
