Try fixing your .htaccess. This type of problems happen cuz of some problem at .htaccess

I have seen this error mostly for 2 reasons

1. htaccess file has something wrong
In that case, recheck your htaccess file and try renaming it to 1htaccess from .htaccess to disable it and then check your site again

2. High CPU load or your site exceeding usage total resources allocated to you mostly like overloading CPU
In that case contact your webhost

Well normal reasons - htaccess/chmod/high ram consumption and system load. Check recent htaccess edits and alter it if its the trouble. Well if folder or files are chmod'd to 777, alter it to 755. Or else if high load, then restart the vps/dedi or if its shared, then ask host to do it

It may be due to htaccess or may be you are using the suphp. In the later case chomd 755 and set user and group to admin and admin.
