    When someone opens a site he wants to have it 24/7/365 open.Not even 1 second downtime.
    I don't think anyone was saying that its not a problem for his site to be down, I think that they were just saying that the owners not a scammer and that as soon as he realizes there's a problem he's going to fix it.

    I agree Mindy but its not acceptable a host not have 24hrs support.When you start a site/forum or whatever you want the best.You pay for it and you must get it!Realise that he has a customer with no site.

    Just try it & see

    EDIT: I had ur FTP details, tried to remove xcache line. Removed it but that didnt help. Have to wait for XSL

    Thanks man, I apprecicate you for trying.

    However, the site has been offline on and off for the last four days, I know it's only cheap shared hosting but I thought he was good enough to be with.

    I just can't keep having the site up one day, down the next, or just dropping out at random times

    Go to includes/config.php

    Open it, find:
    $config['Datastore']['class'] = 'vB_Datastore_XCache';

    Replace "XCache" with "Filecache"

    It looks like this now:

    $config['Datastore']['class'] = 'vB_Datastore_Filecache';

    Try that..
