NameCheap Domain Renwals - Time Limit ?

Actually I`m planning to buy an old domain.
The Domain owner is not active & Domain is about to expire in few months.

1. What will be the time limit for me to purchase it ?
I think they will keep it reserved for short time for owner to pay for it.

2. What will be the possible price ?

Anyone faced the same situation anytime ?

its 60 days mate

that owner has 60 days to renew that domain or it will be for sale on 61th day
