    Exclamation (Request)Adding website domain to phpbb forum

    Hello friends..

    I have ordered a phpbb forum from hostgator, completed the forum setup.. but I do not know how to add domain to the forum root directory..

    I mean to "Add Domain" to get website referral from the filehost like filesonic/Oron/fileserve/wupload for every premium account purchased through my website.

    Can any one please suggest me how to add the domain to the phpbb forum. So, that I can get the 5% website referral if any one purchase premium account for the file link posted in the forum.

    I know how to add the website domain in the file host.

    What I need is ---> how to add the script/text file to my forum root directory?

    In file hosting account, there should be some option like "Add Site" somewhere, may be in the Settings, just look around. Just add your domain there, they will probably give you a code to put it in your site as a meta tag for verification. Do it. Then "verify" the site in your fie hosting account. And you're done.

    I appreciate your help..

    My problem is.. I can add my forum domain in the filehost and get the code.. but, I do not know how to add this filehost generated code to my fourm root directory for validation.

    plz help..

    If I have understood correct then u want to verify ur site.

    If yes then,

    Mate u copy the code generated and past it in a notepad and create a file with the name as stated in the instructions and then via ftp upload this file in ur public_html folder.

    You can also use meta tags to verify ur site.

    @Praveer thank u for the reply..

    the " public_html folder" in my forum worked for me.. for filesonic and wupload.. but Oron and other filehost it is not working..

    I have created a text file and tried uploading to the "public_html folder".. this works for filesonic.. but for other host not working..

    any further help is highly appreciated..

    When you add your site,

    They give a Meta Code..

    Copy that..

    Go to Phpbb ACP > Templates > Edit > Overall_header.html

    Search for "Meta"

    Create a new line and paste!

    where should I enter this meta in the above code. I do not know the command to create a new line with this scripting..
