How to prevent Hotfile tragedy - Account Deletion?

Just few months ago, Hotfile is deleting a lot of account cause it's facing lawsuit, I am the one who got my account deleted. It's a tragedy to me cause I have re-upload everything and my line is slow. This is makes me kinda worry about putting file solely on one file hosting. But the problem is if I'm using a file host with ranking, adding mirror link is gonna hurt the ranking cause people tends to not buying premium. If using the file host with no ranking, the earning is just not good enough.

So which strategy is better? Using mirror link for safety purpose or just focus on one file host to boost the ranking (and pray that Hotfile case will never happens again)?

One more question, is there any premium or free file hosting account which will never delete file even the file have 0 downloads? I would like to use it for backup purpose. So if there's anything happens, I can still recover the file from backup link.

I think Megaupload.com is good for this.

I have some files on free account for like 2 years. private files that never get downloaded and they are not deleted
