Money isn't an issue, and I went for the 8GB memory cause I've been using 1GB for the last 6 years. Optimus and TV Tuner cause I love watching movies on TV rather then small ass screen. 256GB HDD cause I barely used this 256GB HDD. It's a Dell XPS 17, btw.

i5 is best for laptop i3 sucks for performance and i7 sucks for battery and that 2nd gen i5 25xx whc u chose is the best option both for the price and good performance and batttery life also it supports virtulisation of diff os but 24xx does not so buy that lappy execpt for the screen resolution whc may not be that good for watching 1080p movies so u can get the first choice for resolution but it comes for an extra price

personally i dont like the design of dell , if i remember correctly they only hve two usb ports out of whc only one is usb 3.0 and there r lots more , i suggest u before buying have a look at hp models also even id u dont buy hp just have a look at them as u may find them better

but really if you need help on deciding. let me know what your gonna use it for and ill look into which one you should get.
