Disk I/O test
I saw in WHT that you can test the I/O of your server with this command:
dd if=/dev/zero of=test bs=64k count=16k conv=fdatasync
Is this accurate?
I'm only getting:
1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB) copied, 56.1437 seconds, 19.1 MB/s

That is about the speed a green drive will give for data transfer when it starts getting full.
ALso would depend on how many others are using it.
But yes it is one indicator of the type of setup your hard drive is on. Maybe this one is a single sata-II green t2 or 3 TB drive.
