    Doing things differently.

    Default Torrent invites.

Should we have a nice rule and afew guidelines.

So it stops all the threads + begging etc.

IF it went ahead, what would you expect the guidelines to be?

Do you really need any ?

Its solely upon people if they wanna share any invites they will share, else the thready will just die inactive

I mean what can even be a rule for sharing or asking someone for a invite ?

Post your seed ratio which can be changed using firebug ?

Maybe post your profile link to some good trackers

Well, when half the private trackers users are forbidden to invite in a public way, then yes i think their is lol.

If someone wants to give away some invites, then I think they can make a thread.
But I think that the begging threads need to stop.
This is the staff, you have been banned

Even just normal giveaways are shady, if only half the people actually read the invite rules in the 1st place.

    Take RevoTT for an example.

    • DO NOT Invite users from banned countries. Inviting users from any of the following countries will result in both the inviter & invitees accounts being banned:-
Brazil, Egypt, India, Iran, Israel, Pakistan, Portugal, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Turkey.

So if i made a thread giving an invite away, i'd have a pretty good chance of anyone who i invited from here would get banned and so would i.

    Edit:

Plus it only takes google to spread this abit, and most trackers would probably ban/ip users from here pretty easy.

Instead, just open an Official stickied thread for Giving Out/Exchanging Torrent Invites, so people won't have to open a new thread everytime.
So you can close all 'begging' threads and tell them to visit this official thread.

Torrent invites shouldn't be allowed on a forum for Webmasters (at least not publicly), that's my opinion.

I agree. I have no idea why people think they'll get a torrent invite here. (although I must say I got an IPT torrent from here, but a guy was offering it himself)

EDIT: Still, I think torrent invites aren't illegal and there's no reason why they shouldn't be allowed

    @ajinkya9

They're not illegal, at least not in third world countries (yet). But what does torrenting have to do with webmastering? But reply honestly, as it has nothing to do with webmastering. I understand that most of our new members aren't into webmastering, but these file hosts will eventually close and they won't have any knowledge even though they had a chance to learn whatever they needed to develop/run a simple website.

Because theres actually rules on sites about invite(s) giving and not doing them in public view.

    For example:

I could send a lovely PM to someone from IPT and they'd have a field day in humours thread matching up all the emails/usernames
