Sub to Srt?

Dont really know if its the correct forum to post it so please mods move it if its not.

What i want to know is that i have a .sub file with 4 different languages inside.I want to keep the english one and make it .srt.

The file does not open with text edit or wordpad.It show some weird language.

I open it with subresync and it loads the english text but to save it as srt i have to insert every word so it can be recognised.so pretty much i have to insert all english from begining to end.

Do you know any program to help me speed the proccess?
