Also - does anyone know of any offshore hosting that really has 24/7 live support. Not just 24/7 tickets that may get answered within a few hours.
I mean REAL 24/7 you can log in and speak live to a tech to resolve your issue there and then? Does such a thing exist in the offshore hosting word??
One gets tired of waiting around hours for a ticket to even be read, every single offshore host i have ever worked with has totally naff live support compared with onshore hosting. I mean hostgator, dreamhost, actually anyone of around 20 on shore hosts i use you can actually talk to someone instantly and get your problem sorted out.
Off shore hosting = submit ticket - check back in an hour, check back in 2 hours. Start to get worried, 3 hours.....they reply. The reply does not solve your issue....wait and hour wait 3 hours.....come on seriously someone offshore get some decent support and you would actually get customers that would pay decent money. I mean i would pay $30 -?50 per month just for 200gigs transfer of only html pages and no scripts no db usage. You could fit so many people like myself on such limited hardware you could pay techs a fortune to actually sort issues out when they happen.fuckedoff Reviewed by fuckedoff on . wrzhost what time do their support come online, i want to use their live support but not available right now. Their support is currently on MSN.
wrzhost servers are awesome if you're intelligent enough to fix majority of your problems, sometimes they can be condescending but apart from that they're definitely worth trying out. I switched from them because I went out of warez and warez hosting is expensive.
So kiss me and smile for me, say that you'll wait for me <'3

wrzhost is a great host. There is no 24/7 support. and it would be dam well for any host to have around the clock support.
And I mean why would you have so many problems? What problems do you have that are needed to get taken care off. I can understand some problems but I mean if you can take care of it, why not.

their support is very good for offshore support - yes, it's probably the best i've found whilst trying out offshore hosting. Hence why i'm still with them.
However, the hosting i have in the US with certain companies IS true 24/7 live support. Nothing more annoying than waiting while your site is offline to get a reply. When there is no phone number and your ticket sits there unread, you wonder wtf you can do.
There seems to be no 'hostgator' or 'dreamhost' for small sites outside US, and even for vps you can hardly find a host with 24/7 live help and live phone number. I know those are huge now, but come on get some huge hosting companies offshore ffs.
Some issues need to be fixed at their end regardless of how intelligent you are or what tech abilities you have. So you are at the mercy of when the ticket is attended to by their tech department.
What is the problem with any company outside of the US offering any kind of decent service at some kind of semi realistic price?? I'm not even from the US but have to say they certainly understand service when it comes to hosting.
I'm sure there would be a market for some more expensive offshore hosting plans with true 24/7 live tech support. Like a semi dedicated server, very limited resources and say 100gigs-300gigs transfer only for $35-$50 per month. You could fit tons of those on a decent spec server and then put some money into the support side. Limited database usage to a reasonable amount and zero tolerance for resource hogging. For people that want a stable reliable standard website with good uptime and good support, but dont want to manage or have any need for the resources of a dedicated server. You have a large forum then feck off and get vps or dedicated, don't cheap out with semi or shared and mess it up for the smaller people. You have a large forum get a better server. Else go to one of the shared hosts that let you mess it up for all the other people. Resources are more expensive than BW now by miles.
Anyway, my problem was resolved with my server, ticket responded to and solved in around 2 and a half hours. So in my experience with offshore that is pretty good. So good for wrzhost. However there is certainly room for massive improvement with the offshore hosting community that is for sure. Charge more, give better premium service not just more BW and resources, service is more important to me. 150 mins waiting and stressing is still too much for my liking. 1 min - talk to live help and know they are working on it is what i want, even if the issue takes some time to fix. Its the not knowing anyone is even looking at your issue that is fecking scary.
