I have to agree with that, Ubuntu is great at what it does right now, hell i still have seedboxes running 8x and 9x.

Im not liking this move at all time will tell of coarse but yep Ubuntu in mainstream = FAIL

Having said that all that "mark" and "apply" shit did my head in, if i press it just install it lol

I think if they stick at it they may get a better operating system for their work, however in its current state its basically useless.

As long as you can install it from the Software Center, I don't see a problem. Did they need the space for something else on the ISO?

Software center is retarded. It's like microsoft windows themes, to them the change of color of a taskbar and pretty wallpapers is a "customizable theme". Software center is just... god, oh well back to compiling and sudo apt-geting
