Yes I understand that. But all I want is the service similar to Russian or Ukranian hosters who don't care about european and american takedown emails and require copyright holders to provide real documents via real post and preferably with local representative and to prove that the website violates local copyright law, not some american acts.

Of course top dogs like microsoft, adobe, warner, sony etc have their copyrights reserved even in Russia\Ukrain etc and will have no problem to make such takedown letters and hoster will ask the client to comply, that is totally ok. What I am looking for is the hoster that ignore all those spam DMCA emails that being sent in masses. Basically, your ukranian nodes are perfect example of such service, but they don't allow porn content.
teaparty Reviewed by teaparty on . Looking for VPS provider that ignores DMCA/Takedown notices First of all, let me clear something, I do not look for any illegal solution (like, for example, Germany based host that promises to ignore DMCA). I'm looking for the real offshore linux VPS provider. What I mean by "real offshore" is that local law and\or datacenter terms should be warez linking friendly and allow porn related content (obviously 18+). What I have experienced so far is all self proclaimed offshore hosters forward DMCA letters to me and asking to deal with that. But really Rating: 5

Well, if you are willing to remove a few threads when someone serious complains you will be fine with most KWWH hosts(Netherlands, Ukraine etc).

Define serious I'm not fighting with big corps, all complains are from subscription based adult websites and a few adult dvd producers. Thing is that western hosters are freaking out just because email subject has dmca in it, it doesn't matter for them is email bogus or not, is the dude that send it is even real copyright holder represent or an evil competitor trying to shut the site down.

Let me quote terms of one huge russian hoster: "We won’t accept your claim/complaint about violation of copyright and associated rights unless made in writing and delivered to us by registered mail. The claim should be accompanied by certified copies of documents proving the applicant copyright." That's what im talking about! And of course I am willing to comply with such serious complain in regard of my site, but that's the thing, there wont be any complaints of this kind.

So if there is any other hosting provider with similar terms, that allow porn related content, I will be the most happy webmaster in the world

My current onshore USA hoster does same thing too. As long as its 1-2 emails per week and from small unknown companies sure they all can close their eyes, but when you start getting them on regular bases, the hoster get upset with you pretty fast. I need a hoster that explicitly states that all the spam US DMCA emails are ignored and only real ones with valid documents are processed (like the Russian hoster from my post above)

    Hello,
You want to ignore DMCA, I understand. But you also want first-class hardware and datacenter features? You won't find it in Russia/Ukraine. At least; you can't compare it with Netherlands datacenter.

However hosting in Ecatel should be fine, most complains aren't even legal so they can be ignored. If there is something serious then just delete the requested content and repost it later on. This is a good and working technique. Most of our clients use this.

Note that Ecatel does have some negative points, about hosting the most spam related content I assure you they have a good network.

    Regards,
    l0cal
