i have been facing this issue for the past week now during different times, especially during the peak hours of tv show releases

I also noticed... Yesterday in particular.

I finally got onto their site at about 6:00pm, and noticed that they had NO NEW releases all day, previous release was posted at about 5:00am that morning.
So maybe, the editors are also having trouble with accessing the site at the moment.
I'm sure it will sort itself out soon.
Well, it will have to, otherwise people will start looking for alternatives. Simple.
For instance, I am starting to view rls-bb a lot now... just because of the problems that rlslog has with the "overcrowded" server.

its their server problem so wait till it gets fixed

It's very common. They've had the same problem for over a year now.
