    Hello all,

    I opened this thread to know what operative system use webmasters, which is better for work? What makes it better than others, please leave a reply, i want to know which is the best and going to use on my pc.

    Im confused. Are you asking about the OS webmasters use on their servers or on their home PC?

    Anyhow, CentOS for servers, w7/ubuntu for home PC.

    Well if you don't play games etc. go with Linux (Ubuntu) as for Windows I recommend Windows 7.

    Or even better, why not have both and go with dual boot?

    Yep, i'm not looking for a operative system for fun such games on others, just for work...

    Personally I run both, windows 7 & ubuntu.
    Both work fine for my work and my entertainment.
