Everything is corrupt

Right, every time i unrar a game from say a torrent/filehost ( various different sources aswell ) it justs fails and keeps popping up its corrupted

Any ideas why?

Using the latest Winrar aswell.

Are you unpacking scene rars, or repacked rars?
Scene ones come with sfv, so you can check are rars failing, or winrar went nuts

If you can give me torrent url of a problem file i will chuck it on a seedbox and test my end if you want

Open the corrupted part, and press “ALT + R”
When all went well, the file will be ok.

or

Just re-download the corrupted part alone.

Mostly happens due to connection ..

Make sure that your HDD is working properly, could be an issue with that.

Kinda annoying when idiots upload completely useless shit

if you get this problem in future then read this..

It happened with me some time ago.. And i found that my Power supply was the reason..my power supply was supplying bad power to my board/ram and that was causing unrar errors in winrar... And when i changed my power supply everything worked good...

So try changing your power supply.. 99% chances are that power supply is bad.. 1% chances are for RAM is bad..

repairing worked for me too but i got errors in games while installing or my files was getting corrupt.. so if u get problems again then change ur PSU

Try downgrading to RAR3.x, do not use 4.x yet. I've heard some compability issues.

well yes it might be power supply, ram fault (run ram test in dos), motherboard ram slot fault (rarely happens), or also there might be that motherboard has isue with your ram. start from ram test booted in dos, i only dont remember which one to run 7or 8, well run all and you will see. if it will show errors then dont panic , insert those ram to other computer and check again 1 by 1 because they might be fine and it will mean that isue is with motherboard or power supply.
