for the members it really depens on what you can provide, many users like private ftps i guess that is a start

You should learn to spell correctly. I hate seeings sites that have misspelled words all over the place. The pop-up idea is great but make it a little smaller. Other than that I like the theme and the site! To get more members just tell people about your site. If you have good content it should grow itself. Also try affiliating to other websites that have the same theme. Good luck!
