    Exactly. Never going to happen, especially as the plus one button is meant to affect rankings. You would get competitors hitting the minus button etc..

    Google want to know what you like, what you are interested in, etc. That's why they have the +1 button, so that they know what you like, and they show ads as what you want to have.

    A -1 button won't give them real information about you that they can use. So google would never do that.
